My man

My husband doesn't usually give material gifts to the children for Christmas or their birthdays. Instead, he gives them a piece of paper with an amount of hours written on it. This allows them uninterrupted time with dad to do whatever they want to. Today, Caitlynn is cashing in some hours and taking Bruce on a horseback ride. For those who know my honey......you know this is an incredible sacrifice on his part. He really does not like horses......and does not see their purpose on the food chain. *smile* He would rather play a board game or go out for lunch with them. But he faithfully honors his post-it-note piece of paper and saddles up our Arabian. I think our children will remember Dad's gift of time, more than they will remember every material gift I have given them. I am truly blessed to have this man as my husband!
