Cold hands, warm heart!

I'm cold....all the time. I wear a sweater in the heat of summer and sometimes mitts. I'm okay with this....but my family has a difficult time. We have wood heat in our house, (because Bruce was paying a fortune keeping the furnace on for me), and I would love to keep the fire going all summer if I was allowed!!!!

Today I woke up VERY early with my precious Tsega and we filled the wood stove and turned it on high. I was very comfortable all morning but was having a difficult time with Bryce....and homeschooling. He was having a meltdown...literally. Now....Brycen's uncle sweats when he thinks...and because Bryce and I are complete opposites when it comes to hot/cold...I thought maybe he was just thinking too hard...and sweating. Until...Caitlynn jumped up from the table and wiped her brow and said, "I've got to get outta here....it's so HOT!" She looked at the temperature gauge and yelled, "Mom, it's 33 degrees in here!" So....they ran outside...took off their socks and played in the snow. Not sure how this fits into homeschooling....but I stood inside the house, with my three layers of clothes on...shivering a bit.....as I watched them enjoy the cold snow.
