I should know better....

I needed 5 minutes to get dinner on the table so I told my toddlers that I would put in a Signing Time video for them. Tsega does not talk and uses sign language for everything...so both of them enjoy watching these videos. Tsega didn't want to have to go without her bowl of nuts and bolts.....and since she can carry around a bowl of cheerios all day without spilling one...I decided to allow her to take them into the living room. I was quite confident that she would not allow a single morsel to drop to the ground.

Did I have a momentary lapse of memory???? Did I forget that I have two toddlers instead of one??? Did I mention that Samuel's goal in life is to seek and destroy whatever is in his path?
This is what I found 5 minutes later. It wasn't enough that he dumped the entire bowl...he had to stomp and squish every tiny piece into the carpet.
And then had the joy of cleaning it up with the vacuum.
I didn't take a picture of Samuel sucking the socks up the hose after he cleaned up his mess! I was too busy trying to rescue the rest of the laundry basket.
