Update from Corrie

a little blog update.

After delayed and missed flights (due to the delay) we finally arrived in Ethiopia one day later than expected.
Off to the hotel to shower.....uhm....not happening....no hot water so we just peeled our clothes off and put on fresh new ones to go meet with martha.
Signed a release of rep paper with martha and headed to the TH to meet OUR SON!!!!

Our little man is very shy. Hana says he is very quiet (we knew that) and rarely speaks. I managed to hear his little raspy voice when he was told to say thank you and then again when saw a video of barney in my suitcase. They watch ALOT of tv at the TH.

Mihretu has had some beautiful smiles today, and has had many moments of silent tears and bone racking sobbing. He makes no noise.....but inhales in tiny little puffs gasping for air as he silently cries. Heart breaking.

He finally fell asleep on my shoulder later this evening and crocodile tears continued to fall sporadically down his cheeks as he slept.

Pray for his little heart to be comforted by our heavenly Father. He is the one who will bring full healing of my little man's heart.

must try and get some sleep....1:30am in Ethiopia.
