A strange conversation......

Me: (opening the deck doors and asking my in-laws), "What are you guys doing?"

Them: Burning

Me: Uh huh.....WHAT are you burning?

Them: Trees and garbage.

Me: I see. The tree you have on top of the burn pile is an artificial Christmas tree........

Them: We know......it may be artificial but it's still a TREE.

Me: Okay..............
